For Atlanta Georgia’s 15-year-old rising star Chase Lett, music plays a very large part in his life. This young musician has been creating his own music since the age of 5 years old. This Songwriter/Rapper/Singer/Actor/Entertainer contains knowledge beyond his years. His number one hit single "Can I Be Ya Man", which was recorded in the Fall of 2008, drawn attention to this young artist and his musical capabilities.With his "Myspace" page containing 300,000 + Music plays, his fan base has been growing since. Chase is just waiting for the "right person", he says, to hear his music. Is that you? Chase describes his own music as fun and youthful while at the same time signifying deep meaning. “I feel that my music is perfect for all ages. I never choose a song that I can’t relate to in some way, shape, or form. My music will always reflect who I am.” he says. When asked about his first experience in a major recording studio, Chase responded, “My producer and manager was amazed at how well I did in the studio the first time. He said I took to it like a duck takes to water! And the studio engineer couldn't believe I had never been into the studio prior to this experience.” Chase's voice is rather developed for a 15-year-old since his studio performance required little to no tuning. That doesn’t mean that Chase doesn’t seek constant improvement and constructive criticism in all areas. “You can be a performer and not be an artist, but I am an artist. I have spent time studying and researching everything I can about the music industry and becoming an artist. I am not only honing my songwriting skills, but I am also developing my total package including my image and my stage presence, right down to learning how to read a teleprompter if the situation ever arises for me to do so. This isn’t just a dream of mine, this is a goal that I am determined to achieve and I won’t give up.” Chase takes and applies all the advice he receives from his mother, Courtney Donald, and music industry professionals he has worked with and who serve as mentors to him. Chase has plans to perform on bigger stages. Chase knows that, with God on his side, anything is possible for him to achieve his goals and make his dreams come true. “Everyone has dreams and goals,” he states. “I am just going for mine to the extreme!”
