Biography:
Giovanni Gravagno was born in Messina July 14, 1966.
He starts early (age 5) to play the piano, demonstrating a remarkable musical talent.
From the years 1973 to 1986 has been studying classical piano, followed by master Dario Nicoletti and Mimi Galletti, which will lead to achieving a specialization in composition at the Conservatory of Music Francesco Cilea of Reggio Calabria.
In recent years actively involved in composing soundtracks for various theatrical works of which Giuseppe Cavarra: Mafia, Suite for a lark, The people and history. Collaborates on musical projects with various artists such as Giovanni Mazzarino Messina, Daniele Grasso, Roberto Scarcella Perino and a cameo on the album "ll 'America" by Pino Daniele.
Abandon their studies classical music because more attracted by 'listening and study of Jazz music which will compete with by himself until now.
In 2005, after a long pause lasted a decade, due to decreased professional commitments, incorporates musical activities that will take him, in April 2009 publication of his first record, Piano, piano!
The May 8, 2009 held a concert presentation of the disc, whose collections were donated to charity, to assist earthquake victims in Abruzzo. The concert was held at the Auditorium of the CEI in Palermo. On June 26 he repeated the presentation of the disc, changing the lineup of the evening with the addition of several original songs at the library "Broadway" in Palermo.
The October 8, 2009 held a concert at the Auditorium RAI Palermo during which he presented in pairs with percussionist Henry Alessi, original songs and covers of tracks by several other contemporary authors ..
