Biography:
He is a twenty One year old audio engineer who hails from the musical producing community of Prospect bordering Manchester and St. Elizabeth.
He is a hard worker, determined to get the job done right no matter how long it takes and one who sees himself flourishing in his field and other aspirations in the industries of music media.
He is O’Neil Veron Brown, born on August 12, 1988 to Ena and Veron Brown, a house maker and a farmer. He moved to Sea View Garden in Kingston at age six. At fourteen O’Neil moved back to Prospect, where he soon after developed his music career.
Though his love for the art of music spun his entire life; he began his musical endeavours at age fifteen by learning how and mastering the art of playing the drum sets. He played at church services and concerts which led him to meet up with renowned audio engineer and producer Gary Atkinson who has since mentored O’Neil in the art of great audio engineering, mixing and mastering.
O’Neil has since worked with artistes such as Jah Mason, Terry Linen, Little John, Laden, Mad Andrew, Danny English, Island Girlz and Paapa Wastik from Africa to name a few.
O’Neil has faced many impediments but overcame the odds to propel himself to a safely established level of success in the Jamaican music industry.
He has his own record label Wild Cats Recordz.
By 2010 the inspiring engineer hopes to be a producer.
O’Neil Brown has hit the Jamaican music industry with force; doing great things with expected phenomenal results.
